For people working in complexity, change, and uncertainty.
Creating the inner conditions, to support outer change.
Strengthening capacity to keep showing up, without burning out.
A small, trauma-informed online practice space for people who want to meet pressure, uncertainty, and overload with more steadiness, presence, and choice. Across four live sessions, you’ll learn simple somatic practices to help you stay more connected to yourself and others in the middle of real life and work.
What is it?
Many of us are working inside systems that are demanding, fast-moving, and still shaped by outdated ways of doing things. When the pressure is high, our nervous systems often reorganise around protection and survival, which can make it harder to stay grounded, creative, connected, and responsive.
This practice circle offers a gentle, practical space to slow down and notice what is happening in your system, while building small, repeatable ways to return to more steadiness and support. This is not about fixing yourself or becoming more productive. It is about building the capacity to be with yourself differently in complex times.
Who is it for?
This circle may be a good fit if you:
- Work in complexity, change, care, leadership, facilitation, design, community, or social impact.
- Often hold space for others and want more internal support to do that sustainably.
- Notice overload, tension, shutdown, bracing, or constant “on-ness” in your body.
- Want practical embodied tools, not just more concepts.
- Value a small, relational learning space where you can experiment gently and at your own pace.
What you’ll experience
Across four 75-minute live online sessions, we will:
- Build a simple understanding of how your nervous system responds to stress, safety, and ease.
- Explore common protective patterns such as speeding up, freezing, over-functioning, withdrawing, and people-pleasing.
- Practise small somatic supports you can use in everyday moments, including meetings, conflict, decision-making, facilitation, and rest.
- Reflect on what helps you stay in contact with yourself and others when things feel uncertain or emotionally charged.
- Work with repetition and between-session practice so the learning can become lived.
Understanding your nervous system brings creativity, clarity & relational capacity.
What makes this different?
This is a practice circle, not a one-off workshop. The emphasis is on embodied learning, gentle experimentation, and integration over time. That means you are not just learning about nervous systems intellectually; you are beginning to notice your own patterns and build new responses in ways that are usable in real contexts.
All activities are optional. No prior somatics or trauma training is required, and no one is expected to share more than feels right.

Taught by Jax Wechsler
Jax Wechsler brings over 20 years of experience supporting organisations navigating complexity, uncertainty and change. Over the past five years, her work has focused on nervous system literacy and trauma-informed practice, helping teams build the capacity to stay present, connected and choiceful under real-world demands.
This work draws on long-standing experience in co-design, systems change, facilitation and applied neuroscience to support teams to move from overwhelm to more grounded, choiceful ways of responding.
- 20+ years working across change, design and social impact
- Trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware practice
- Experienced facilitator, educator and systemic designer
When people feel resourced and can regulate themselves, they have more choice in how they respond. That’s where clarity, collaboration and care become possible.
